I've traveled between Picton and Belleville quite a few time since 2011 and I didn't know about this forgotten mini-ramp until last year. Located in a quiet town on a quiet road, just across the bridge from Belleville.

Ontario Skateparks with Lights

As the days get shorter, it's harder to skate. I had a request for a listing of skateparks with lights. The old list hadn't been updated since 2017 so here's an update.

Brockville, ON

Skateparks with lighting. Note - I can't guarantee any of the lighting still works or if the timers function properly.  Icelands seems to go past 11pm and ABB lights up after sunset in the fall quite often.  Comment if there's an error or missing park.
Designated Lighting – DL The skatepark has designated lighting.
Park Lighting – PL  The park is lit casting light on the skatepark. Results may vary.

Skatepark Directory

An up to date listing every Skatepark, Skate Spot, Skate Dot, Pump Track & Pop-up I have been to and skated, listed by community in an organized fashion. 650 as of July 2026  (& adding new parks as they come).
The map has been updated with a picture of the park and link to the post for more photos and exact address etc., as well as future projects, bike parks, parks I haven't hit yet & a few skate shops. The focus is Ontario but there are over 1000 points across Canada and the USA.

 Mini-Ramp Madness

The long overdue follow-up to Ontario's Best Bowls, I present a compilation of Mini-ramps, Vert and Pockets. Some are great, some are no more than two parallel quarter pipes. Click on the name/link for locations & reviews of the park. Ottawa

Ottawa and the surrounding area have a lot of good parks. Legacy, Kanata & Berrigan have a lot transition. On Deck Skateboard Shop has its own mini-ramp! Stefan Wenek saved the pre-fab mini with the park upgrade.

Owen Sound

Weird Park. Metal Mini that's been upgraded to a half bowl but downgraded due to a hole in the ramp

McKinney has a nice mini even though I broke my collar bone there. Recent patches are less than stellar. Whitby Sports Centre will have a skatepark with bowl & pump track.
