Holland Landing

Holland Landing
Holland Landing Community Centre
19513 Yonge St
Park #343
The Holland Landing Skatepark was a fun one but has one of the silliest signs. I’ve never seen a ‘Helmets Manditory’ notice in Ontario( I have seen it in the Maritimes where it is the provinces law). It also says ‘entering’ rather than ‘using’ so parents on the park with their kids would have to wear a helmet. If the park is unsupervised, who is going to enforce the helmet rule. We skated for hours and no staff or police dropped by to tell us to put helmets on. There’s a line that says the town is not responsible for injury or loss so all they really need is ‘use at own risk’, which they have. Bad Legalese aside the funniest sign is the on the building less than 40ft away. I doubt the by-law has been altered. Whoops.

Parc Pere Marquette

Parc Pere Marquette
Rosemont, Montreal, QC
Huge park. A little of everything. Super busy and lit to 11pm. came back at 6am to skate and get pictures. Lots of crossing lines so when it's busy, it's sketchy.
