PCS Construction

Pickering Community Skatepark Construction

Pickering Community Skatepark broke ground on July 24th with members of City Council and the Skatepark Community with Radius Skateparks.

This (generally) is what we're getting.

Working on the mini-bowl.

Hooking the crew up with drinks...frequently.

This looks like something I was told 'wasn't going to work out'

PJ to down bar and 'P' Shaped Pole Jam!

Long & Low

Flow section.  That's the Nuclear Volcano.

The crew let us throw a few Easter Eggs into our park.  Russ tossed in some old trucks. I added a little memory tin.

The tin includes some Canadian Tire Money (Because Canada, F Yeah!), Comacan, Ontario Skateboarding, Switch (The Local Skateshop!), Skatepark Respect and some Tech Deck Girl Skateboards Stickers. My Card, the last of the 'chive on' cards. A rock from a skatepark and a rock/piece of brick from my friends farm.  The UPC of Oct 2026's Thrasher. A Nickle. Some dust and wood from my ramp. An old nut and bolt off a board I found.  A DGK Tech Deck I got at Jackalope Mississauga 2026. A Spooky Spider that lived in my laces and appears in my 'Kidnap the Sandy Claws' Halloween Basement edit. A sobriety coin I found while cleaning around the West Shore Skate Spot. And lastly - MY BLOOD!

The Light, from 'The Long Skate Home' didn't fit.

Big transition going in.

Brick stamped bonus section.

It rides so good!

This demands a No-comply PJ 50-50.
It's based on Spin's old PJ Rail.

BROOKLIN SKATEPARK

 BROOKLIN SKATEPARK

@ Fieldgate Sport Complex
2 Gathering Place

After sitting nearly complete since last summer, the new Brooklin Skatepark is finally open to rave reviews (from most, put I'm picky)

More Photos to come on a less busy day (below).  Staff worked overnight to get the site ready for grand opening. I spent an hour sweeping, cleaning, sealing, waxing and making the park ready for skaters.  The stone ledge is not the best pick of rock but it's wearing in pretty well.
There are some questionable welds. Ground off.
There was spilled concrete to chisel off.
Just some carelessness from builder Patterned Concrete.

Transition Bike Parks did the Pump Track. Thumbs Up!

Curbed Kicker

Shade, Benches, Tool Station, Water and Washrooms.

The park is bookended with a sculptural wallride and big QP

Option Island

reported.
