 Ontario Skateboarding

I've joined the board of Ontario Skateboarding as the Advocacy Chair. I'm going to keep doing what I always do; Stick my nose in where it belongs but wasn't invited.

Public Service Announcement!
Ontario Skateboarding is proud to share that the Board of Directors has expanded.
Scott Loyst - Advocacy Chair
@spotttheloonie
Scott has spent the last 15 years advocating for skateboarding. His blog, Spott Dreams of Skateparks’, boasts over 600 skateparks across Canada and the US. The blog features skateparks profiles with detailed pictures of the parks he visits as well as a skaters POV on quality of the build and history of the park. He provides insights on repair options and feedback on where the local community should invest, whether it be temporary fixes or long-term investments. His photos are used by Skatepark Companies, other advocates and communities for their skatepark projects.
He has selflessly given his time and perspective to encourage others to visit the existing parks and has also taken it upon himself to reach out to specific municipalities to offer consulting services free of charge to achieve a better investment for the community. He founded the Pickering Skateparks Alliance (IG @PickeringSkateparksAlliance) which has produced results in Pickering, Durham region and beyond. He has acted as a freelance consultant for skatepark projects in Milverton and Burford, Ontario. All this while raising a famliy and working full time as a Paramedic!
"There's no one better to advocate for skateparks"
Welcome to the Team.
And
Thanks for being RADICAL.
