Seaton Rec All-wheel Park Design Sesh Follow-up

Seaton Rec All-wheel Park Design Sesh Follow-up

On another rainy night, locals met up for the one and only in-person gathering for Seaton Rec's All-wheel Park hosted by Newline Skatepark.
May 2026 Update at the bottom.

Nice to see both Stefan and Bill.

The night was handled like Design Meeting 2. This will be the only meeting.

The crew was pretty solid in that we're already getting a street style/tech skatepark in the core so we were all for more transition.

May 2026 Update
In Seaton Rec Part 2, I laid out everything that Pickering needs in regards to skateable terrain.
Pickering Community Skatepark is set to be a street style park with small bowl so the City pushed NewLine for a transition based skatepark. The designs (above) are close but we explained we want more bowls and provided 70ish photos and concepts for consideration. We explained our desire for this park is a 70% Transition/30% Street Split.
They came back with this...
A slightly adjusted Concept 1.
Meeting coming up.
I'll keep my cool but Bill's gotta listen to the right people.
I'm building a network here.
