St Isidore

St Isidore

Behind the Rec Centre @ 20 De L'arena St

I was warned by a guy in Limoges that this park is worse.
He was right.

It's bad EVERYTHING! The ground, layout, construction etc.
If I hadn't found the little kicker and flat bar on better asphalt I'd say this park gets no use at all.

Nothing like welds to chew up your board.

Mellow, kinky and no coping. Thanks, I hate it.

Russell

Russell

Consession St by the Baseball Diamonds and Arena. Terrible parking lot. Park 631.
I think I've found the key to booting kids off the park.
When I arrived the park was crawling with kids and parents sitting on the ledges.
I walked over with my board and set it down.
Then I came back with my broom and started sweeping the park.
By the time I was done, the adults had pulled their spawn to the side to watch me ride.
After a few runs, they left.
Park to myself and a young local.

Pre-fab on an old sport court with some big cracks.

Limoges

 Limoges, ON

45 Des Benevoles
Limoges is crazy. Built by local welders, it has some stuff that's ridable.  7ft big ramp. double mini with different transitions on each side. A 5.5inch high rail. You know, the basics.

Edit of the day.

The coping reveal is bad. Nothing on the transition but probably half an inch on the deck.

Bourget

Bourget

Near Bourget Community Centre
19 Lavigne St

Bourget, rhymes with forget, which is what I'd like to do with this place.  A truly terrible local diy attempt from the local welding company. I met a guy at the next park (Limoges) that confirmed this and warned about other parks in the area.

Nothing like a park sign that says 'No Skateboarding'

I've hit 'mid-bank' rails before but I didn't feel like gapping out to this one.

A park so bad that 2 sections are closed

I pretty sure that's where CRC learned how to do their coping.

I'm pretty sure that's supposed to be bolted together.

30ft x 4ft roof top ramp. Did I mention it's 3ft wide.

There it is. Take a broom. At least there's a porto potty.

I don't normally see skateparks and silos from the same vantage point.

Vista Park Skate Spot

Vista Park Skate Spot

720 Vistapark Dr
A crazy, bargain basement skate spot featuring a rail, low bench/ledge, a good spine and a useless bench and picnic table.

No Kicker. 30+ inches high. No one's skating this.

I didn't get a great shot of the bench (right) because of the guy but I wasn't about to skate it. It's probably 36 inches tall.
