Day 255.
3rd day of trip.
We left Sleeping Giant for Thunder Bay and nearly hit this little guy and his buddies. Ruffed Grouse.
Hit Current River Park then...
Marina Park, Thunder Bay.
Skateable Sleeping Giant.
We went to the abandoned Steep Rock Iron Mine in Atikokan, ON
Everything I know about abandoned mines comes from Scooby-doo and horror movies........
So we went exploring.
On the way back we stopped at Kakabecka Falls which is where my dad proposed(or they decided to get married, depending on who's telling the story)
Making it back to the park we took a little detour to a look-out in Sleeping Giant
Spotted this Striped Skunk,
And a Merlin. We saw a black Bear but it didn't hang around for pictures :(
