New Parks!

Future and recently completed Parks
I don't update this page much. Just check the map
I try to stay up to date on parks that are raising funding, under council review or under construction.  I'll try to keep this section updated on new or proposed parks I haven't been to yet. (july 2024 update)

Toronto, ON - Wallace Emmerson construction continues. Duff Grove has re-opened. Earl Bales in design phase. Follow IG to stay up to date.  Eglinton Park in planning phase.

Vaughan, ON -  North Maple regional park - possibly cancelled, status unknown. 

Orillia, ON - Final design is out - Seeking funding - FACEBOOK

Caledon, ON. - Mayfield West (Kennedy N of 410) construction has begun in 2024 by Transition.

Hamilton, ON - Hamilton Skateboard Assembly Facebook - Hamilton needs 9 more skateparks article. Beasley got some work. Valley Skatepark is open. Alexander Park getting something large - Under Construction in early 2024.

Kincardine - planning on a concrete replacement with Drop-in

Hensall & Walkerton both planning stages.

Burford - Plans to update. Designed. To be built in 2024.

Waterloo - Stork YMCA is open. RIM park coming and a RIM bike park built. 

Cambridge, ON - New spot in Bismarck Park and advocacy for Hespeler.

Innisfil - plans for a new park at Innisfil Beach - Status unknown. 

Oakville - Cornwall Park has opened. Sixteen Mile Park design is complete with no user feedback. Now under construction - summer 2024

New Tecumseth - Concrete park plans seem to have stalled.

Whitby - New Rec complex with skatepark and pump track. ETA 2025.

Brampton, ON - Gore Meadows pre-fab to Concrete ETA 2025?

Belleville, ON - Bunny spot at Riverside complete and Hillcrest/Sonny Belch Spot under construction - summer 2024.

Pickering - Seaton Rec, South Pickering Ward 1, Hydro Corridor, Dave Ryan Park and more slated for spots/parks.  Follow HERE

Paris, ON - Phase 2 bowl in 2024 by Transition.

Great skateparks are built by skaters. The best producers of skateparks have skaters who design, survey and build.  They are also totally cool so if you ever want info on a park just contact them.
