Port Huron, Michigan

 Optimist Skatepark

William 'Bill' Robinson Skatepark

Port Huron, Michigan

at 1400 Whipple St, 1.3Miles from the boarder crossing.

Getting out on a beautiful April day and hitting my first new park of 2023 was fun. I haven't hit an American park in a decade.

This park is fantastic. Built and Designed by Grindline Skateparks and funded in part by The Skatepark Project & Built to Play Grants.  Park 502.

Take a tour.

Edit of the Day.

The Boarder crossing was funny.
Agent - Where ya coming from?
Me - Near Toronto.
Purpose of travel to the United States?
I'm going to the Port Huron Skatepark. It was re-done last year.
Sarnia doesn't have a skatepark?
It does actually. It was also re-done last year and is my next destination.

St Clair River with a pump bump island.

Long 5 set with hubba, rail and out-ledge.

I'm told this ledge setup is a 'china banks' but all the extras (amazing extras) make it look like a dog face.

This lean manny pad obstacle was amazing. Slappy edge, wallie capabilities & ledge. This would make a great skate dot...so I measured

Dog Face Ledges

Big Hubba

The bowl has so many features & different heights of QP to make learning easier.
