Harrow, ON

 Harrow, ON

Nestled by the Arena, Fairgrounds and High School at the end of McAffee St.

New Ramps installed in 2022. I hit the old ramps in Aug 2022. Honestly, as bad as the old park was, it had more character and was a funner sesh. Rust in Piece.

This place was great.

THE West Shore Skate Spot

 The West Shore Skate Spot

After 7 years work the WSSS has been opened at the West Shore Community Centre @ 1015 Bayly St in Pickering.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - Sept 21, 2022 @ 6pm

You can check out some of the construction photos HERE

The Trees are getting names.

This spot is the result of hundreds of hours of Advocacy by myself and others. The Build Crew, being skaters themselves, made 2 alterations to the design for better park flow. The QP was bumped up by a foot and the flat ledge was moved to avoid a narrowed space by the hip.

The Pier 7 Ledge and Stairs both have beveled fronts to prevent hang-ups.

This ledge contains a Later Skaters Beer Can. Check the construction photos for more Easter Eggs.
2 years later and I just noticed the grammar mistake.

Batawa Pump Track

 Batawa Pump Track

Ski Club Ln at the Parking lot for the Batawa Ski Club

Batawa Pump Track is one of the many free facilities in the town. The pump track is asphalt and pretty smooth and there's a small skinnies track. Keeping the kids busy is easy with the Dino Dig and Batawa Lions Natural Community Park. I took my son out for the first Father/Son skatepark trip and he loved it. We also ended up in Belleville for milkshakes so we checked out the skatepark.

Dino Dig Climbable Triceratops Skull

Natural Playground. There's also slides, swings and a zipline.
