The new park had to pre-fab due to its location on an underground sewer system. They incorporated access into the slappy curb/manny pad with a manhole in it.
Locals advocated for ramp armour surfacing instead of metal. My recent review of Belle River's new metal ramps included dB readings of nearly 140dB.
This park was packed and after an hour of skating, my ears weren't ringing. This should be CRC's standard park. Frankly, this is their best park in the last 5 years.
The core obstacles were not left out. There's multiples of everything. The Ledge/manny pad has beveled ends for slappies. There's a rainbow rail. I think the big roller would be better served as a spine.
All it needs is LIGHTS!
The old site got a nice covered sitting area. There's drainage across the back of the park.

The Mini was replaced a few years ago.
These ledges were inset for some more challenging grinds.
Another VFA era park is gone...thankfully.
