Check out old park and its history below.
Norwood got hooked up with a concrete park thanks to a Crete Slingin' Local who got the Town to go with a better design and company.
Great park with a bowl, flow, street elements, pump track and a learners section.
This photo is dedicated to the guy on instagram who looked at the concept I posted and commented 'No Stairs?' The stairs were clearly visible and listed in the key. Duh
A smart way to avoid berms that have trouble growing grass.
OLD PARK
Looks like community built modular with really slick surface. Recently, 2 youths began advocating for a new park and even went so far as to get designs from a modular ramp company before to town council told them to stop fund raising.
What a bunch of stodgy kooks!
UPDATE!!! - They kept at it and there's a new concrete park half finished, to be completed in early 2023.

Where have the old ramps gone? And who has them?
ReplyDeleteNo idea & No idea. I’d suggest contacting the township. I didn’t like the old ramps. I found them slippery.
DeleteI think they’ve gone to Deep River as of 2026.
DeleteGreat skatepark but tried to use it during the Norwood fair and was charged just to ride it, I had no intentions of attending the fair
